A native of Washington D.C., J. Holiday burst on the scene as a solo-artist in 2006 but hit it big with his hit single "Bed" in early 2007. The single reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B;/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
