Jajube returns to the ninth season of Degrassi as playful power squad teammate, Chantay. With a strong gymnastics background with the U of T Gymnastics Club, she had no trouble jumping into the role as a Degrassi cheerleader.Other sporty skills include Tae Kwon Do and weight lifting, which helped land her part as Yolanda Brooks in Disney`s 2007 TV movie Jump In!Jajube is no stranger to the stage either. Last year she received rave reviews for her portrayal of Binti, a young Malawian girl orphaned by AIDS in Theatre Direct Canada`s production of Binti`s Journey.When not on stage or in front of the camera the mezzo soprano singer also enjoys playing the guitar and piano, skating, volleyball and snowboarding.
