Majead Ansari ( مجید انصاری; born in 1950 in Zarand, Kerman Province), is an Iranian politician and cleric. He is currently Vice President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs since September 1, 2013. Previously held office from October 12, 2004 to August 29, 2005, appointed by President Mohammad Khatami. He replaced the resigning Mohammad-Ali Abtahi and was replaced by Mohammad-Reza Rahimi (as appointed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad).
