Meghan Danahey

Short Biography

Meghan is the newest member of the 4 Warn Storm Team, She joined anchor Robin Smith, as our 4 Warn Meteorologist on News 4 at Noon, and is part of News 4's number 1 newscast at 5 pm with Jasmine Huda and Sharon Reed. Meghan has earned the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society and the broadcaster's Seal Of Approval from the National Weather Association. Meghan has a wide range of forecasting experience. In Tornado Alley, she was the Chief Meteorologist at KAUZ-TV, Wichita Falls, TX, She covered everything from wildfires to watersprouts in Fort Myers, FL at WBBH-TV, Including a direct hit from category three Hurricane Wilma, Meghan also worked in Dallas & Austin, TX, Most recently, She earned an Emmy nomination for her work on a severe weather special as a meteorologist foe WCNC-TV in Charlotte, NC. When she's not playing golf, Meghan enjoys dabbling in her garden and kitchen, Meghan and her husband, Marcus, love to go hiking, with their rescue dogs, Remi, Rooster & Roxie, They explore the St. Louis area and the Ozarks, One of meghan's favorite community partnerships is the woman build with habitat for humanity, She is deeply passionate about animal rescue and loves to work with small independent groups as well as the local Humane Society. Meghan has been a volunteer coach for the First Tee and has been a long-time volunteer with the PGA.
