In 1964, Bonham joined his first band, Terry Webb and the Spiders, meeting his future wife Pat Phillips at a dance in Kidderminster. They married in 1965, when he was 17. John and Pat had two children, son Jason Bonham (b. 15th July 1966) and daughter Zoë Bonham.
