Short Biography
After graduating McGill University (Canada) in Finance and International Business and founding/running a promotions and marketing company, Bobby Salomon produced his first feature film, “The Mallory Effect” directed by Dustin Guy (Indican Pictures and Alliance Atlantis). Taking advantage of his US citizenship, Bobby then moved to Los Angeles to further pursue his dream of working in film and TV.Bobby wrote, directed, and produced 15 MINUTES, a TV spec pilot starring Tara Summers, Sam Page, and John Larroquette, which he won Best Director at the 2010 Independent Television Festival in Los Angeles and the pilot won Best Dramedy at the 2011 New York TV Festival. He is currently in post with a spec TV pilot, TRUTH AND EVERYTHING ELSE, which he co-wrote, directed and produced, and a branded entertainment web series for Full Swing Golf, which he also wrote, directed, and produced.Bobby had the privilege to work with the late Dino DeLaurentiis on STAL, a feature based on an Italian novel series. He also worked with Michael Prupas of Muse Entertainment and Telefilm Canada to write an adaptation of a critically acclaimed biography about Gertrude Bell called DESERT QUEEN by Janet Wallech.Bobby produced an award winning short film THE GUEST HOUSE directed by Steven Roy, as well as another short film, THE WAY, which he wrote as well.
