David Adam LaRoche (born November 6, 1979), is an American professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also played for the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks and Washington Nationals. He is the son of pitcher Dave LaRoche and the brother of third baseman Andy LaRoche.
