Son of the writer Rubem Fonseca.José Henrique and Claúdia are parents of two girls: Maria Maud (born on February 6th 2001) and Felipa (born on February 21th 2007). They were both born in Rio de Janeiro.His daughter Maria Maud is named after his mother, Théa Maud.Son-in-law of Regina Abreu and Helcio Varella.Has two older siblings named Maria Beatriz and José Alberto.In 2003 won award for best movie and best director for the movie "O Homem do Ano" in Miami`s Brazilian Cinema.In 1998 the movie "Traição" won award for best movie in Huelva Festival (Spain).He`s one of the members of the Conspiração Filmes.
