Mika Midolo

Short Biography

Mika Midolo has been CP24 BREAKFAST’s Traffic and Transit Specialist since March, 2009. Midolo helps GTA commuters beat delays with accurate and regular updates. She is also a weather specialist for CP24 on weekdays. Giving back is important to Midolo, who hosts For Goodness Sake, a weekly segment on CP24 BREAKFAST that connects viewers with charities and fundraisers in the city. She hosts and participates in events all over the GTA and never tires of hearing from viewers that they love to watch CP24 and CP24 BREAKFAST.Midolo is actively involved with the Dream Makers Wish Foundation and helps dreams take flight as the CP24 chaperonefor the annual Dream Take Flight in Toronto. She has taken an active role in the PMH Weekend To End br**st Cancer acting as CP24 Team co-captain. Midolo is also proud to host the Canada Day Celebrations for the City of Pickering each year.Prior to joining CP24, Midolo was the most recognizable voice and face of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). For almost a decade, Midolo updated any delays on trains and buses for several Toronto news stations.Midolois multilingual, and can speak English, French, Albanian and Italian. In 2011, Midolo proudly accepted the Outstanding Albania Female of the Year Award. She is proud member of the Albanian Community of Toronto.Midolo earned her media training at Toronto’s Humber College, where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Journalism. Midolo lives in Pickering with her husband and young son.
