Matteo Ferrari (born 5 December 1979) is an Italian footballer, who last played as a defender for the Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer. He has also played top-flight football for several Italian clubs in Serie A, and Everton of the Premier League; he is usually deployed as a centre back, although he is capable of playing anywhere along the back-line.
